What to Wear in a Bog Dress

or a swamp thang
~ maybe substitute the velvet fake docs ~
or maybe not

This is so comfortable I fell asleep in it and found myself wearing it this morning.  And you can't tell the difference!  Now that's how I like my clothes, bay-bee.

~ hey look! it's 2, 2, 2 dresses in 1 ~

The pattern is from Tina Givens, called the Poppy Slip and ShirtThe fabrics are thin stretch knits/ mesh abstract prints from Fabricmart.com

~ le back view ~

And as I always say, 2 sheers make it right.  You know what I mean?

~ the obligatory shoe shot ~

That's blue velvet fake Docs from ebay and space-dyed sox from Soxdreams.com.

Now it's off to the big parties for the week.  Whenever they go live, that is.  Patti's Not Dead Yet Style with all the Visibles, Catherine's I Will Wear What I Like, and Cherie's Shoe and Tell.  See you there!

  1. Hey Bay-Bee. That is a wonderful bunch of dresseses. And comfy as well. The shoes and socks are as wonderful as ever. And thank you for the tip about fabricmartfabrics.com. If I had to go into Joann's and get eaten up by quilting fabrics one more time I was going to lose it!

    1. Hey! I lost my own comment back to you. Let's see...I was bad mouthing Joann's. Ah yes, here in Chicago you get bombarded with never-ending rows of fleeeeeecccce. All year 'round. I mean, very uncool fleece. Like fleece for dummies, like fleece for Donald Trump fans. You get my drift.

  3. Love that you fell asleep in these cool dresses - that's the test for comfort, bay-bee! But now I have the shivers thinking about fleece for Trump followers. : o

  6. As usual, your shoes make me salivate (sounds much nicer than drool). The dress is very cool, and even more so if it's comfortable enough to sleep in.

  7. A dress that looks good even when you sleep in it is something to celebrate.

  9. Beautiful. Love all those fabrics together, and especially love the bold blue sending the eye back up to seek out the color in the drapes of the top!
