My fabric, located on the other side of the room on a shelving unit, is organized by color. So are my fabric scraps - in crates by color. My thread is in its place by color, etc., etc. So are the clothes in my closet. All my art supplies by category, then color. I even had all my books arranged by color for awhile, but it was somewhat difficult to locate items!paohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00642040846510090078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5855116479106700295.post-60519540503716379332013-03-05T13:39:36.391-06:002013-03-05T13:39:36.391-06:00I love seeing other's studios!!

But that's how things become art I think. It's in taking the time to look and perceive and appreciate the awesomeness of what's there, and noting the unique beauty of the relationship between things. Somehow bringing that out so it can be recognized and seen by others.

Anyway, that's as close as I can come to describing art making.

I like that you wear your power sources daily. And shrines. Having your children's pictures on a small altar above the sink.

Yeah, I did make the action stick figure one day out of sticks and metallic thread and a little downy feather, oh and a seed pod for the head. I made a whole mess of what I called voodoo dolls one time out of found objects. I would have to say that my silver jewelry, my bracelets especially, could be considered a power source, especially since I've had many of them for years and years. I definitely feel their energy and on the rare occasions when I don't wear them, it seems odd. Also, the photos of my children when they were small. I have a few on a small shelf over my kitchen sink.

As always, thank you for your artful energy!! I love your totems, especially the first one. Did you make it? If so, do you have others, maybe for sale or barter? Just wondering.
