I'm wearing a newly made top created from my old pillow cases. (I'm not sure if it's done yet or if it needs tweeking.) A bit of lace as a necklace/ scarf thingy, my refashioned skirt from the last SIA, and pantaloons made previously from mom's old kitchen curtains. And that's a bit of true love's painting over my shoulder.

I pronounce it like the Tao or "pow." But actually it's really just my initials. Speaking of creative, you blow me away with every post, each one completely different in style (and I'm not even talking about the outfit!) and entrancing as a narrative. I'm hook on you, girl.
DeleteI love that you made a top out of pillowcases and bloomers out of curtains! I thought when I first saw the photo that you might have been wearing vintage Victorian nightwear with all those pretty trims.

DeleteSince I'm a fan of vintage, your newly created top made from old pillowcases makes me want to transform some of mine into something to wear. If I could sew, which I used to do when I was in high school. But not now. So I guess I'll just have to admire your latest surprises from afar and be good with that.

DeleteYour vest is on my list. I was doing that pillow case top, and then I have a Tamera-influenced jewelery piece listed...oh, and a pieced t-shirt tunic...
Three's a crowd? Your pose is perfect here, and your photo-shopping is superb. I wouldn't have even noticed that you weren't part of the original. This required a double-take. I love how you take anything and create something more beautiful from it. I always get the sewing bug in the fall.
