It's summery looking. And middle-aged preggo-looking. But I do love the fabrics I put together. That's yellow polka dot voile (so soft and thin), turquoise printed cotton, and turquoise tulle overlaid, I had the last two pieces in my stash.

Back pieces also from my stash, including the embroidered tablecloth. The piece beneath that is actually pale gray chevrons, but you can't really make it out.

Fabulous! I find that flattering is frequently something I choose to abandon. I too love the fabrics you chose here. Those sandals are great, too; what is their origin?

ReplyDeleteAmen to that! Well the mojo failed me today when I received my Irregular Choice, pale yellow, high top, canvas sneakers with the tabi toe. Alas and alack, they're too big. My toes don't even make it to the toe split. pout. ah well.

DeleteI love that dress, especially the layers in the back. What exactly does flattering really MEAN anyway? Just another marketing. If you're happy in your clothes then everyone else should be happy too!

DeleteIt has a very Asian flair to it, which is appropriate considering the pattern. Love the socks and sandals combo. I've actually been admiring those socks on a website for awhile! Swoon.

ReplyDeleteI can tell when someone has a more advance sense of fashion than me (which is 85% of women) because they put things together that would never occur to me. Like these fabrics. They combine with brio. I would never have thought to do that.
