How What I Wore Brought Up Rocky & Bullwinkle

on MeMadeMay'18, Day#15

~ you've seen this top before ~

But believe it or not, I've never, ever worn it with this matching dress before!

Wossamotta U?, I say to myself.

~ taking off now, just like Rocket J. Squirrel ~

Okay then.

The dress is from Tina Givens Poppy Slip pattern and the top is self-drafted.  The scribble fabric is a hunter green/putty color print nylon sheer knit by Halston.  It weighs nothing.   I'm wearing pale gray yoga capris that I refashioned (like the black ones I had on yesterday) by adding a ruffle from scrap fabric.

~ worn with Frye sandals from ebay ~

    1. Patronus! I think in this case the magic is in the fabric designed by a 3 year old gone wild. Thanks bkind2all.

  2. Watch me pull a dress out of my hat? I like how the hems echo each other.

  3. Rocket J Squirrel - hahaha!! So good. LOVE this outfit. I'm glad you finally brought these two together. And I love the hint of ruffle under there. Next time show me Boris Badenov. Heh. That would also be interesting.

    1. Melanie?! ah, the cartoon gotcha. Well, I did reference Mr. Peabody's Wayback machine in the previous post. I think it's the MMM marathon that's gotten to me.

    1. Me too! This is extraordinarily easy to make, Shelley. The fabric doesn't even need to be hemmed!
