But check out the graphics. How could I do anything but? It's a very sturdy linen with 2 shades of blue going at full strength. With a number of holes too. But, hey, no problemo. Appliques to the rescue.

DeleteYour dress has wings, ever so essential. Gaa. A most gorgeous garment of symmetry. Maybe you're hiding cats in there. Your shoes remind me of boxing - but I like that butterfly flitting. Wonderful creation. I like how you follow this outfit's free will.

The cloth did all the work in the symmetry department. The shoes, however, are taking over...and I like it!

ReplyDeleteOh sure, I got them on ebay. The brand is Giraudon and they are no longer in business, but they or something similar in style show up once in awhile

DeleteYou really are a genius! Your tablecloth dress series could be a museum exhibit! When you run out of tablecloths, I have a cedar chest full. They could use a new life.

DeleteThat is such a cool dress - I love the pattern and the way you have incorporated wings that can fold up, or fly free. I agree with Judith that this series should have an exhibit somewhere.
