Okay now. I'm wearing a cocoon-type top I just finished making from a Vogue pattern (I have no idea if it's done correctly, it's so weird). And there's my refashioned pants into skirt, my diy golden bug necklace, with ebay cowboy boots.
Style Imitating Art will go live tomorrow, Tuesday, so check everyone out then. Meanwhile I'm going to join the Visibles at Patti's Not Dead Yet Style as well as the crowd at Monday Mingle.

The cocoon top verrrry intriguing. Who cares if it was sewn correctly? (As long as it stays together!)
Ha, I had to show a little orange-ness. I think that cocoon top "fits" any which way, on any part of the body it can slip, slide onto.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, pumpkin, mustard and tangerine. The cocoon is quite the concoction. I don't know what it's doing or where it's going, it just feels like it's moving of it's own accord when I'm wearing it.

ReplyDeleteArgh! I packed it all away for a so-called other time. It seemed so daunting, especially after reading all those comments from others on the flicker page. I couldn't figure out what to use for the toile. How did yours come out? Any major tweaking to do?

ReplyDeleteHehehe. Yes, it certainly drapes and layers and slips and slides - it's practically a living thing the way it envelopes and I get lost inside it. Creepy? Just a little odd, I guess, or unpredictable.
