'Wearing Green' Dress and What's my Caption?

Seems I'm gravitating to green lately...nothin' wrong with that.  As long as it's not kelly green (no offense).

~ day lilies in the 'hood ~

Of course they don't really smell.
It was a photo op.

~ proof that orange and green do go together ~

Now, what's that thing I'm wearing, you ask?  Ha!  Why they're from Tina Givens patterns, of course.

The Spring Green Woven Stripe Light-Weight Linen fabric is made into a modified Clara Kaftan.

`~ see? ~

The White Semi-Sheer Linen Gauze fabric is made into the Priscilla Slip.   Both items have pockets.  I always make pockets.  One must have pockets.  Did I not mention that pockets are mandatory?  Purses are not.

~ a perfect match ~
to my ebay rocket dog canvas shoes.  woo-hoo.

And just like the last page in the New Yorker Magazine, now it's your chance to fill in the captions to the last pix in the comment section...

~ What's my Caption? 1 ~

~ What's my Caption? 2 ~

Okay, without further ado, I'm with Patti and the Visibles at Not Dead Yet Style, then Catherine's I Will Wear What I Like and finally Cheri's Shoe and Tell.  See you all there.

    1. yes, I could live with that kind of problem in the 'hood.

I'd like to see your form-fitting dress, Beate!

  4. How about: "Stop the lawn mower!!! I'm here, I'm HERE, I'M HERE!!" Although I don't think anyone would be mowing these lovely lilies. Gorgeous green/orange combo, of course. And the shoes! Always the best shoes. I'm with you on the pockets-over-purses preference.

    1. That would be good with sound, don't you think? With the ominous, but not seen, lawn mover sound in the background while I tra la about.

Caption #2 - Proven Winners | The #1 Plant Brand - You won't be disappointed with our newest daylily, the giganticus orangatanus genus

Pao....you look spectacular my dear! Yes and yes to green and orange...I was dressed in green a lot as a kid...so orange hair, green clothes go, I guess. And ditto your thoughts on kelly green.

    1. hmmm. You mean it's not a world-wide expression?! Let's see, Kelly Green is an over saturated green with maybe a bit of yellow in it. garish, in my opinion.

  7. I'd never heard of kelly green until I started reading American blogs - my school uniform was a hideous shade of drab bottle green and I've never worn it again.
That dress is wonderful with the the orange accessories and aren't Rocket Dogs the comfiest pumps ever?
    Flower Pao-wer? xxx

    1. The things we learn blogging. Who knew kelly green would be regional and rocket dogs universal.

    1. yeah, bay-bee. Now why are they selling dresses without pockets? As someone has already mentioned somewhere...do they sell men's pants without pockets? no, they don't.

  9. Pockets are mandatory - the latest addition to the Blogger's list of life requirements. I like the little ruffle on the Priscilla Slip, which is the perfect "wear under everything" summer layering piece.
I can't think of any captions better than what has already been suggested. I like Vix's suggestion of "Flower Pao-er"

But I love your Tina dress - I love all of your Tina Dresses - and your orange lily shoes. Okey doke. Caption 1: Has anyone seen my purse? Caption 2: Don't need a purse cuz I've got POCKETS!!!!
