C'est fini folks. Except for the main attraction of meeting up with Patti and the Visibles at
Not Dead Yet Style,
Catherine at
I Will Wear What I Like and Cherie's
Shoe and Tell when they go live. See you all there!
Hey, while I'm at it, Let's do
Sydney Fashion Hunter too.
Don't you hate it when you're not ready but the camera is? You look great in all of these - and after that delicious breakfast, you probably are as happy as a clam at high tide. Love the new dress, xox

You've got the best blog title, Julia! There's never too many pockets, I say. or shoes...
DeleteYour breakfast sounded delicious!! Very pretty fabric, and I like the details of the back ruching and the cargo pockets.
ReplyDeleteIt was, it was, and I keep thinking about it too. I hope you're feeling better too.
DeleteMy gosh I LOVE the print of that fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteIt takes a garden, don't it?
Deletethat fabric!!!!!
ReplyDeleteyou put so much love in every garment you sew! look at this detailing! beautiful!
xxxx
awww, so nice of you to see and say such things Beate. mmmwwaa.
DeleteSo much to love here! I love the outer casings for the elastic!! The three rows are wonderful, and make it a statement. I will definitely be copying that!! Extra pocket? There's no such thing!! All pockets are essential. I love the print and the up-scale housedress vibe. Perfect for summer and I can imagine layering this later. Once again, you've made my day. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHousedresses are the way to go, in my opinion. It's always my day when you show up, Jean.
DeleteThose not-ready shots usually have the most life. I like this one. And your dress - yes! verrrry nice. Never can have too many pockets. And I love the back detailing. Plus, I join the crowd when I say I love the fabric choice for this.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. I shall have to make an all pocket dress one day. People will say I'm hiding behind it, but oh well and why not.
DeleteJust the thing for going out for a posh omelette! xxx
ReplyDeleteYour right, Vix. What a good idea!
Deleteoh, I just love looking at what you sew - your creativity and vibrancy just make me feel good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Coco! You've certainly made my day. Especially after I just found out Bunny earmarked many of my makes on 2 of her mean-spirited pinterest boards. Why do people feel the need to do things like that? And I've had her site on my side bar forever! Well, I'll not be recommending her anymore.
DeleteThis dress is lovely Pao...I love the fabric and it looks gorgeous with your fab shoes...So impressed with your sewing skills.
ReplyDeleteI just keep at it and usually something good comes out of it...
