Caught rolling up my tunic top so you can see the full glory of my skirted pants.
~ whoops ~ |
~ there we go ~ |
Made in cotton from Tina Givens Candace pants pattern, my second pair. I luv this pattern. I slightly modify it to put pockets in the wings and leave off the elastic at the bottom hem.
~ with the top down, so to speak ~ |
Tina Givens Olivia Tunic pattern made in a light-weight sweater knit. I've made this tunic many times. However, I don't think this is the best selection for these pants, but that's what came together today.
And horrors! I forgot a close up of my platform Docs from ebay. Maybe they'll have to have another outing...
Tomorrow is another day.
If you have a new pair of shoes everyday for a month your shoe rack must be amazing!
ReplyDeleteLoving these pants with the patterned fabric.
And platform Docs? Yes please!
xo Jazzy Jack
Not a new pair, just another pair for each day this month. Quelle difference. But still, I know, it's a lot. eek!
DeleteI meant to have the scale pattern on the pants go the opposite way, but, oh well. It still works.
What a fantastic print on those harems, they're fab.
ReplyDeleteLucky you finding those hideously expensive double soled Docs on Ebay, a couple of my friends have them (the double soles are brilliant for keeping your feet warm when you're a market trader!) xxx
Too bad the top doesn't do them justice.
DeleteI wore the Docs that day for puddle jumping from the recent rains. And they really are comfortable.
nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sally!
DeleteThose are my kind of pants! I'm envious of the double-soled Docs - it's getting harder for me to find Docs that have enough "give" for my bunions, which is sad.
ReplyDeleteOh Shelley, that is sad. I always find that Docs are soooo wide. Lately I've been seeing cool-looking fabric shoes. Like those black high-tops I had on recently, or knit ones with rubber soles. These pants are very easy to make, by the way. And only take 1 1/2 yards of cotton to make.
DeleteI love these trews sooo much! And more great shoes, of course.
ReplyDeleteTrousers/ dress? Yes, me too. It's my favorite pants pattern and so easy to make. Believe it or not, it only takes 1 1/2 yards of fabric too. Yes, of course.
DeleteLove these!! And POCKETS!!
