...were just pouring out of me in the jewelery-making scene. But that's it for awhile. I've cleared off the table in my studio and am ready for a sewing bout again. Meanwhile all the jewels-to-be are now organized to the max which delights me to no end.
Without further ado, here's my latest playthings
(after the break)...
|
old chain & single earrings |
|
close up of attachments |
|
mom's old "pearls" with toy dinos |
|
close up of dinos gem-ed & brushed with gold |
|
artwork entitled 'Angel' |
|
made into necklace with shredded copper fabric |
|
found fabric stuffed kitty |
|
stitched together to create brooch |
And
That's all folks!
Pat, you should start a shop. You make amazing jewelry. Love the dinos on mom's pearls!
ReplyDeleteHeehee, doing this sort of jewelry is too much fun.
DeleteWow, that angel pendant is brilliant. You do wonderful things! It's so fulfilling being able to rotate between passions. Do you know how lucky you are to have more than one?
ReplyDeleteIt's all creating with the stuff I have. Can't help it. You know about that, Joni.
DeleteFour incredible works of art! I love the mating dinosaurs especially. I'm so impressed that you can finish one project and move on to the next so methodically, too! x
ReplyDeleteI know, the dinos fit together like a charm, and they wiggle too!
DeleteOh, the piggy-backing dinos and copper fabric! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe dinos are so cute together, they just didn't want to be split up, and that pearl necklace was so u.g.l.y., what else could one do?
DeleteI originally made the metallic copper strand for shoe laces, but they couldn't hold up to the strain of knotting and re-knotting. So I was thrilled to find it worked out perfectly for the necklace part of the shattered-safety-glass-angel-box.
Your pearls and dinosaurs necklace is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey've (pearls and dinos) been around a looong time, so it seemed inevitable that they'd hook up together.
DeleteI love the first one for all the texture and pieces. But the kitty brooch wins my heart. Your jewelry is always so much fun. It makes me want to do more DIY's.
ReplyDeleteOh, but of course, you are the Cat Woman. And you do the most lovely diy MMD's!
DeleteYou are soooooooooooooooo fabulous, Pao, ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Only you could say that, Sacramento!
DeletePao, you are soooooooooooooo amazing. Really and truly. So you see, I can say that too!!!
DeleteOk, the dinos and pearls are THE BEST.
ReplyDeleteCan I please have your autograph before you become a hot shot jewelry designer?
To SA909,
DeleteYou're the best!

I love the pearls with dinosaur - inspired!
ReplyDeleteIt's a favorite.
DeleteI so enjoy your jewels my dear!
ReplyDeleteGlad you appreciate my funk, Tamera!
DeleteThat's quite a range of jewelry -- from the ridi-cute-lous of the stuffed cat to the sublime. Your creativity knows no bounds!
