Re-View
Now that's what I'm talking about
everything made or refashioned by moi, painting by Kris Dodd
Instead of dying on the vine, it's all floral all the time.
A sensory overload of patterns and colors - that's the first impression. But it rearranges very quickly to a heart note of delicious color combinations leaving a base note of joyous spring. A very nice perfume indeed!
Oh Yes! NOW I see why you were so unenthusiastic about the previous outfit. That one is positively DRAB compared to this. That is one sad, tired daisy in a plastic bud vase. THIS is a full bouquet in Sevres.
Okay. You win. I liked the other outfit until I saw this. Actually, I still like the other one, but this is on a whole 'nother level. I get it. "Stepping out of your true love's painting"?!! Is that why the sum appears greater than the (fabulous) parts?
Oh Lynne, are you sure your not confusing me with someone else? If you're just talking about the photos on the blog, it's the internet, just click and copy. I'd be honored.
Pao-pao-paowerful. (Sorry, couldn't help myself...) Seriously, this IS awesome. A squall of flowers and spring and positive energy. That's the way I like it too. Uh-huh! Love that Dodd painting.
Speachlees, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm doing my Spring Thang.
DeleteOh the shoes, Pao! Love them.
ReplyDeleteThose are the painted oxfords with grosgrain ribbons...remember them?
DeleteMajorly crushin' on florals for spring!
ReplyDeleteNow if the weather would just follow my lead!
DeleteBeautiful! I love it! And I do so like those shoes.
ReplyDeleteThey used to be stained old brown oxfords before I gave them a painting over.
DeleteI love your floral mix! Great to see that skirt again - it is awesome!
ReplyDeleteNow, is it Spring yet?
DeleteYou are so floral I can practically smell you as you waft by! Good thing I'm not allergic to you, huh? Yes, it's definitely spring where I live.
ReplyDeleteI can smell it (Spring) coming, but it's not quite at the door yet...

ReplyDeleteooo, very nicely put, Juli. wow.
DeleteAt first glance, I thought this was a Style Imitating Art post and the artwork was Gustav Klimt's Portrait of Elisabeth Bachofen-Echt.
ReplyDeleteOh, you. And I wish.
DeleteUh-huh! Your florals are truly YOU!
ReplyDeleteYep.
DeleteOh Yes!
