Just Another Day

in Blue and Grey.

We decided to start a new series of photos called "This is not my house," and this isn't.

~ I'm wearing a bunch of things I've made ~

~ But I'm just not that into me (today?) ~

~ aiyiyi, just look at this, no don't, never-mind ~

~ But, socks and shoes are always there for you, man ~

My good friend Sara saved the day and stepped in, turning my blues into...all lightness and orange!

~ yea Sara ~

~ work it girl ~

p.s.  Sara didn't sew any of her clothes.  She had a bad sewing experience as a child and has not ever fully recovered, no matter how much encouragement her friends bestow upon her.  She is an avid thrifter.

ed. note:  I suppose I should mention I'm wearing Tina Givens patterns (Phoebe Top & Pants) I've sewn - except for the top layer kimono-like jacket.  That's a variation on some other big 4 pattern that I don't presently recall and was made way before Project Minima.

  3. Hurrah for Sara saving the day! Love her colours.
I laughed, Pao, at your incredible shrinking photos. And then, BAM, the money shot, the shoe/sock shot, at least for today. Usually the whole you is the money shot. You still look great in your blues, and greys. I like your "this is not my home" concept. Heh.

  5. I love the "this is not my home" concept but don't get yourself arrested for trespassing (or, I suppose, in the USA, you might get shot)
I like both you and Sara's colour combos and your socks rock. xxx

  7. I love your blue and grey layers! The shoes and socks are definitely wonderful too. I can relate the Sara's traumatic sewing experience. There were many tears involved in mine so I am a thrifter too! I mend and alter hems but that's about where it ends.

    1. ohhhh, okay then, well my trauma happened with math. Geometry fine, counting with numbers, not happening.
