    1. Put one up! I never wear either of them. First time for each and I've had them for years.

    2. My computer won't give me a comment box for some insane reason so I'm going to piggy back on Patti. Your shoes are killing me. All of your shoes. What size do you wear? I'm going to come to your pretty neighborhood and steal all of your shoes. You've been warned. I actually think your tunic is perfect. It is exactly as sweet as it needs to be. Just like you.

    3. Thank goodness for Patti! Size 8, 8.5. Now I have some that are too small at 7 and 7.5 and some that are too large at 9. Are you anywhere in there? I'd throw in the tunic, but I know that's way to big.

    4. Yes. Thank goodness for Patti. I'm in the 7 and 7.5 range but I can't quite wear shoes yet. Stupid nerve damage from my asinine back surgery. Bah! But when I can wear shoes again I want some just like yours.

    5. oh, oh, Connie. Not wearing shoes is fine. But due to nerve damage from back surgery?! Stupid & asinine are a few of many words that come to mind to describe such an appalling situation. When you can wear shoes again, you can have all of mine!

  3. Nice sox! The box reminds me of one I saw in Woodstock this Summer. There's a picture of it on my blog. Eye-catching.

    1. I agree, the sox are from the $1 store. Sadly, they're not made to last. I remember your Woodstock box. Those were the days, my friend...

  4. Too bad the socks were not made to last, they really add to the shoes! The dress is such a happy, pretty thing!!!

    1. It's not like I ever wear out my socks anyway. Now my husband, geez. What goes on in there? Oh that dress. I try, but I just can't make it mine yet.

  5. These are such great photos. I'd love to frame up that top one.
We have those little libraries in the neighborhoods here too. I have yet to take a book yet but they are so intriguing.

    1. Go for it. I'm glad they exist. The fact of it in my neighborhood makes me feel good.

  6. I can see those shoes with a colourful suit or tuxedo for some reason.
You could remove the pockets and add mismatched ones to make it more you!
We have a dream to add a little library to our yard one day. I adore them! Love the poetry quote. Xo Jazzy Jack

    1. You're right, something to masculine-ize them more, or add to their semi-masculine vibe. I thought they might help the too girly-ness of the dress, but I think it turned them the other way.

I'm just doing that now. Adding a different fabric print pocket to a print tunic. It looks great. hmmm.

  7. I'm so confused. The socks don't last, right? The tunic does. The tunic is too sweet so put mismatched pockets on it? So does that box saying mean that if you throw a book of poetry at an evil politician they will be cleansed? That seems like a good church to me!
You look great, Pao. That fabric looks awfully familiar! Heh. I'm still trying to figure it out. The shoes, divine. The socks divine. The poety, ditto. And your friend, yes, also divine. The power of the poetry.

    1. That's right, your Miyake square dress is from that fabric. Maybe it's in the fabric. The fact that whatever it's made into just doesn't quite work...

oh, I meant I was adding the pocket thing to another tunic I had just made - a contrasting fabric and all that. It looks cool.

      And you, divine.

  8. You are so lucky that I wear a larger shoe size than you or I would be sneaking into your house in the middle of the night and kidnapping all your shoes (it's also good for you that I don't know where you live). Those are marvelous shoes...and sox...and tunic. Oh heck, it's a great outfit all round.

    1. Let me know and I'll give you my address. The shoes remind me of your purple and pink Docs. These are TUKs, I believe. And you can have the tunic too, but I can't imagine it's your thing.
