Day 6 MMM'19: A Little Psychedelic?

~ or maybe Sgt. Pepper? ~

Yeah, I'm just talkin' 'bout my g-g-g-generation, baybee.

~ uhuh ~

~ or these days, maybe it's cultural appropriation ~

Anyway, the tunic top is a translation of the Tina Givens Juliana pattern.  And the pants are just a drawstring waist with a few tucks at the hem.  The fabric is jersey knit.

It was much cooler today, so a coat was added to the mix.

~ my Dr. Who coat ~

~ you might spy some references... ~

The coat is another Tina Givens pattern, the Jules Coat.  Made from heavy weight cotton with Dr. Who print cotton embellishments.

And last, but not least...

~ Trippen shoes from ebay ~

Until tomorrow.  Ye gads, it's not been a week yet.

Day 5 MMM'19: Sum Sum Summertime!

At least for today, so I brought out the ole sunshine frock.

~ with hyper-coloration ~

~ in Deep Shade ~

~ and back to normal ~

Meanwhile, I'm wearing the Sam Dress pattern by Tina Givens made in challis.

Underneath, and just peaking out, are my white chiffon pantaloons as seen here.

~ along with yellow Docs from ebay ~

~ and that's a wrap ~

Except, I'll just have to do Spy Girl's May Floral link-up, now won't I?  Yes!

And it's that time of the week for Patti's Not Dead Yet Style, Cheri's very last Shoe & Tell, and soon Catherine's I Will Wear What I Like.  Come on by and join the party.

Day 4 MMM'19: Green Shadows

...or another crack in the wall

~ what I wore to school today ~

Tina Givens Iris dress pattern as seen here previously.

~ it went quite lovely with that pink velvet coat I had on a few days ago ~

and my black chiffon pantaloons barely peaking out from under, as seen here.

~ with my pewter Trippen boots from ebay ~

Until later,

Day 3 MMM'19: Attack of the Florals

You know, it's still cold in May, even with the occasional sunburst.

~ suppressing all that flower power ~

In my plain ole hooded red fleece sweatshirt from Butterick 6253 pattern.

~ Abstract Florals Galore ~

Starting with my kimono made from Simplicity 4291

~ layer after layer ~

A chiffon remix shirt from Vogue 9040 as well as the stretch jersey pants from who knows what pattern.  All with a quasi-Asianesque vibe, I do believe.

~ not to be outdone, here are my Doc Martens from ebay ~

This was today's workout outfit, by the way...

And off to link up with Spy Girls Florals for the Month of May.  While I'm at it, let's go for Style Crone's May Hat Attack! too.

See you tomorrow.

Day 2 MMM'19: Flashback in Pink

I do believe that trying on some items from the archives has turned me into an Austin Powers' prop.

~ yeah, baybee, yeah ~

I would not wear this combo in real life.  Trade out the shirt, for something longer, shorten the pants above the ankle, maybe wear the jacket with a voluminous dress or skirt.  With a little work here and there, I might manage something do-able for this decade.  We'll see.

~ I do feel silly ~

Anyway, the suit is made from pink corduroy, lined with matching polyester, of course, using McCalls 4391 pattern.  Made at least 25+ years ago.

~ with Mary Jane Doc Martens ebay shoes ~

Later,
