Style Me To The Moon

It's Style Imitates Art time again and here's the inspirational work of art:

The Painter: To the Moon by Marc Chagal.

Check out what I wore after the break...

The Painter: To the Moon avec Moi!

I'm wearing my newly refashioned dress from last week, a made-from-scratch reversible vest and some capris that are still in process.  The flats were also refashioned.

Only I think I like it better this way...

    1. It's seems rather a subdued Chagall, color-wise, but all the more lovely for it, I think. It was fun mixing it up with "him."

    1. Yea, you can't tell where I start and Chagall ends! Your color matching was spot on too Vivienne. Can't wait to see what the others did...

  8. I wish I could live in a painting like you do, at least as you appear to do. Your posts make me smile and instruct me at the same time. A visual challenge, sorting out the mundane stitchery from the glorious whole. You are a true original and a true(!!!!) inspiration. Just don't let it go to your head. I would miss it. Your head, that is. Great haircut.

    1. It's easy Jean, just use photoshop. I'm a little light-headed now from such a flurry of compliments, must compensate...before it's too late.....

  9. The painter's palette looks like your headwear in these photos, which was a true delight for me. I love how you've taken on the colors of the painting with your creative ensemble. True art!

    1. Ah, you would see it as a hat I dare say, Judith. But I had to fit myself into the picture somehow!
