Me Made May '17

I finally committed to it.  After all, I only wear my handmade clothes as it is.  The clincher was you don't have to document daily wearing of them.  Yea, I could see that. Not

~ All Me Made ~

I mean, it would be nice, but...

~ ooo, onslaught of the seedlings ~

you know I barely get photographs done once a week month!

~ So here I am on a beautiful day in the neighborhood, etc. ~

I made this top thingy to go over the other Sam Dress, but evidently it decided this Sam Dress was the one.

~ don't get dizzy ~

The top is from McCall's 7416, but the back is what I find interesting, and then I modified it a bit.

~ see?  so weird ~

~ ta, for now ~

~ oh, and les shoes from ebay ~

me made details:

With that I'll be joining up with Patti and the Visibles at Not Dead Yet Style, Catherine's I Will Wear What I Like, Cherie's Shoe and Tell, and Judith the Style Crone's Hat Attack.  And of course, there's Me Made May '17 for the next 30 days!

    1. It all happened overnight - the green seedlings, that is. Thanks for hosting all the Visibles, Patti.

  4. Maybe it's the cloche style hat, but this outfit has a flapperish vibe that I really like.

  5. I usually associate you with more colour, but, man, this monochrome stripy look is a knock-out. You're right, the top is way cool.

No, we expect photos hourly!! Hahaha. Can you imagine? Oh, that's what we call INSTAGRAM. Gaaa!! Love it all, Pao.

    1. Owh, that's what instagram is for. If only I knew how to do it. No, no. I still wouldn't want hourly, daily, photo-ing.

  6. Neato outfit! And just looking at the seedlings make me have an allergy attack. Here it is the palms and live oaks, crazy hormonal. MeMadeMay - um, too revealing of my predilection for daily PJs...

    1. Oh, but if they're anything like your recent pj makes, it would make great MeMadeMay pix.

  7. I kept thinking what is different about this photo and then I realised, you are NOT wearing your glasses! Like you, I'm terrible at documenting and photographing every thing. I have clothes that I've made that have never ever been posted on my blog and yet, I wear them all the time. I love your clothing. I find it inspiring.

    1. You know, they're reading glasses so I usually have them on just to read the info on the camera!

Glad the clothes are inspiring you.

  9. Wonderful creative styling on your top! I really enjoy the contrast of varying horizontal stripes mixed with the vertical stripes. Your bucket hat tops this outfit off perfectly. Thank you for sharing with Hat Attack!

    1. It's that same ole bucket hat. I've made a couple and that's it. But it's so nice to have a place to share it. Whenever I do wear it, I can't help but think of you.

  10. Ooooo, that top thingy is really cool, especially the back. Multiple layers of stripes are the best.
