Day 4 MMM'19: Green Shadows

...or another crack in the wall

~ what I wore to school today ~

Tina Givens Iris dress pattern as seen here previously.

~ it went quite lovely with that pink velvet coat I had on a few days ago ~

and my black chiffon pantaloons barely peaking out from under, as seen here.

~ with my pewter Trippen boots from ebay ~

Until later,

  1. You look like some lego has accidentally stuck to your boots and you are glamorously carrying it off! I have always adored those seethrough pantaloons. Who knew they would add so much cachet?

    1. That would be a good idea, especially if they were magnetic, the legos I mean. I know, I wear the chiffon pantaloons a lot, both the white and the black versions. Sometimes you just need a bit of transition between hem and legs, you know?

  2. I totally agree with the need for transition between hem and legs!! Typically things are a bit shorter than I want. Brilliant idea on the chiffon pantaloons!! Inspiring as always.xo

    1. Yeah, I think it softens the look especially with heavy shoes/boots. Plus with my skinny legs...Not to mention, if I don't have a few layers on, I feel naked.

    1. Thanks Vix, you're not one for pantaloons are you? No, maxi dresses don't need 'em. Smart.

  4. I want chiffon pantaloons in a rainbow of colours. Lovely dress made more cool with the addition of the platform metallic Trippens. I am dying to see your entire shoe collection ;)
